Now We're Cookin'

After being without an oven since February, we finally have a new gas range. While it was discourageing to discard our electric range when the only problem was the oven control panel gave out - I couldn't justify the expense of replacing the panel as that was nearly half the cost of a brand new range.  I have always wanted a gas range, so we decided now was a good time to make the switch.  The gas company came today and installed the gas line and propane tank.  Now we are waiting for the inspection.  After that, the range will be plugged in and we will actually have an oven to bake in!  AND no more white ceramic stove top to polish every night.  I am sooooo happy!  We still need to get an electrician out to install an outlet behind the stove, but for the time being we can plug it into one of the outlets nearby on the wall.
