Spring flowers

I have been missing my perennial gardens from our Niantic home.  Spring was always such a fun time of the year for me as I watched the cascade of colors growing in our yard.  Once we get some of the bigger jobs in our new yard complete, we can then start planing flowers again.  Until then I am planting a few things in pots on the porch and enjoying the wild flowers more.  This morning as we were walking out towards the hiking trails, Monroe and I passed by this Lady Slipper in our back yard.  I have never seen one before, and ran back inside to get my camera.
