Many of the bugs we see here in the Quiet Corner of Connecticut are new and different to us. And they are super sized. The Dobsonfly my husband and I saw near the garage this week was over 4 inches long.
The Luna Moth we saw earlier this month on the kitchen door was a little smaller, but not much.
We are still looking things up and learning how to identify the bugs we find. The birds we see are more fun to learn about than the bugs, but they are also more difficult to photograph.
