A WonderFULL Weekend

We enjoyed a visit for a few days last week and into the weekend from good friends we haven't seen in many years.  They were driving home to California from the Washington DC area and drove out of their way to visit us in Connecticut.  It was a wonderful visit.  It's as if the last 15 years were but a small moment in time; our friendship picked up right were it had left off.  Both our daughters, along with our grandchildren, also visited this weekend.  It was great having our home filled with people we love and spending time with them.

On Sunday my husband and I went and watched the Iron Girl Triathlon in Webster, MA that my youngest daughter competed in.   I am in awe of anyone that can complete a triathlon.
