A few weeks ago we had early season snow storm where many trees fell and electrical power was out in many towns in Connecticut for 5 days. In September, we experienced hurricane Irene and were without power for a week. Today as I look around I can see, after the storms and the cooling Autumn weather, nearly all of the trees have lost their leaves. The fall season is coming to an end and winter will soon be here. And yet, while out walking with Monroe I saw a remarkable site on this otherwise bare tree.
