A New Friend

Monroe has a new friend.  As a 10 yr old dog that doesn't seem to like other dogs very much, it is unusual for her to have so much fun with a 5 month old puppy.  They have become wonderful friends, though, and it is a joy to watch them play when we meet for a morning walk at the beach.

GSD Lover's Sock Knit-A-Long

I recently participated in the Ravelry sock KAL with the GSD Lover's group and finished my socks this week (pattern is Avivah by Mary-Heatger Cogar).  Monroe was my patient (for the most part) model.  She did prefer to nap behind the weaving loom in the corner for the last half of the photo session with the socks.
