I have a memory of sitting on the bus with my friends in grade school; we were calculating how old we would be in the year 2000.  I remember how we all laughed so hard we nearly fell out of our seats just thinking we would ever be that old.   I was 38 in 2000.  I now think of 38 as a wonderfully young age.

In 2012 I turned 50.  Later in the year my oldest daughter turned 30.  Last month my mom turned 70.  Noteworthy ages for each of us, and not really ages I would now laugh at.  But hopefully we are all laughing about something.  Life is short.  Laughter is important.  Celebration of life should include laughter.
